Growing up GETCHNAH’s biggest influence was her father. As a child GETCHNAH would mirror her father dancing like Michael Jackson or breakdancing. When life took him away from her at the age of nine, she didn’t want her and her father’s passion for music and performance to end with his death. As she grew older she found more people who inspired her. These people included: Prabhu Deva, Lady Gaga, Missy Elliot, Nicki Minaj, Beyonce, CL, Aaliyah, and many more.
